Announced : Inox to acquire Satyam Cineplexes

Inox Group has announced today that it will acquire Satyam Cineplexes ( North India based ) in a Rs. 182 Crore deal. It is an 100% Acquisition and Post the deal, Inox would be present in 50 cities with 91 multiplexes and 358 screens.

Just more than an year ago in May 2013, Inox had merged Fame India after acquiring controlling stake in 2011.

Inox has presence in 44 cities and operates 80 multiplexes with 313 screens and It is expanding. Where as Satyam Cineplexes operates 38 screens in 6 cities with 9 multiplexes in northern India at places Delhi, Rohtak, Amrtisar, Jaipur, Indore and also at Mysore and Aurangabad.
