Telangana Congress Legislators who are on a agitating mode from the last couple of days are planning to Target Tollywood and stop Telugu Movie Screenings all over Telangana Districts. A Minister from Mahaboobnagar, Jupalli Krishna Rao has openly declared a few days ago, " Tollywood which is run by Seemandhra People should be targeted and their Revenue streams should be attacked", and he went on to add further saying "90% of Tollywood revnue goes to Seemandhra Persons, so We should Disrupt their Movie Screenings in our Region". Even yesterday, in a meet Jeevan Reddy also reitirated the same stance.

Meanwhile, Telangana Leaders & JAC's are planning Huge Agitations from August. An all out Bundh with All Commercial Establishments like Shops & Theatres closed is in being planned. Even the Central Government is planning to make a statement on this issue on August4. The Telugu Film Industry is a worried lot with these happenings in Telangana. What if a possible August 4 statement is not in favour of Telangana?. By all signals the agitators are giving out in Public they are surely going to Target Tollywood.

Dhada, Kandireega & some other small films are scheduled to release starting from August 5. The Producers may well postpone their releases rather than risking a Blackout in Telanagana. The Region gives around 30-40% of Revenue for any Telugu Film in its Full Run. Adhurs, Saleem & to an extent Aarya2 were worst hit by T Blackout in 2009.
