Committee Formed for Ticket Rates in AP

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has constituted a Committee for the Reclassification of Theaters and Revision of Ticket Rates. The Elite group chaired by Chief Secretary will propose New Ticket Prices and Limitations if any, shortly. Producers Suresh Babu and C.Kalyan are also a part of this Group.

In the meantime, the Government has also suggested the District Administrations to not to allow Ticket Hikes from 1st April. Baahubali 2 Distributors have already received permissions in March itself in some districts and those theaters will be allowed a hike accordingly for the already agreed period. Whether this new Committee recommendations will arrive in time for Baahubal 2 or later, is not clear.
