Gunday is a Mass action Romance. It takes you back into the nineties of Bollywood.

Story : Bikram ( Ranveer ) & Bala ( Arjun ) are Bangladeshi refugees who move to Kolkata in childhood. The B & B growing from strength to strength more or less are dictating the various Danda`s of the Mega City. Both fall in love with Cabaret Dancer, Nanditha ( Priyanka ). On the other hand Irrfan Khan, ACP decides to take them down and is waiting for a chance. How their romance with Nanditha affected their Bromance forms the rest.

Story & Screen Play : The film deals with Action, Bromance & Romance. The story is good and screen play is good in 1st half. In 2nd half film loses some of its momentum and regains it for last half an hour. The film although some what predictable will manage to keep one engaged more or less.

Performances : Ranvir & Arjun have done good job. They are equally good in both action & romance. Priyanka adds the Glam quotient but is clearly poor in the last half an hour. Irrfan Khan is as usually good.

Music : Songs are nice on screen too. BGM is adequate.

Direction : Cool.

Plus : Bromance, Performances & Songs.

Minus : Dragged & Average 2nd Half .
