Oosaravelli ended up collecting 27.6 Crores worldwide in its full run at the Boxoffice. The film was sold to RR Film Distributors in AP & HV Pictures Overseas. RR Got the film for 27Cr in the state and sold the Vizag Area to Bharath Pictures for 3.3Crores. Oosaravelli was released on his own in other areas by its Producer since he already got table profit by selling AP rights. ( Rates include Prints & 1st Publicity ).

Producer:

The Producer was profited by almost 12Cr from the film with the additional rights like Satellite, Audio & Video fetching around 5-6Crores. Karnataka, Rest of India & Overseas got him around 4.3Crores. RR has already paid him 27Cr for AP rights. BVSN Prasad earned almost 37crores from Oosaravelli which was made on around 25Cr budget.

Distributors:

There are 2 major Distributors & 1 sub Distributor for the film. RR & HVP are its AP & Overseas buyers for 27Cr & 2 Cr respectively.

RR recovered 3.3Cr from Vizag by selling the rights to Bharath Pictures ( Sub Distributor ). The film collected a Distributor Share of 22.2Cr in the Rest of AP including all. Thus by RR recovered 25.5Cr incurring a minor loss of 1.5Cr.

Hari Venkateswara Pictures also ended up with minor losses since OV earned 1.7Cr for the Distributor. Bharath, who got Vizag is the major loser here at almost a 1 Cr since OV earned a distributor share of 2.3Cr only. 

All said and done, on the whole Oosaravelli ended up recovering almost 85-90% money spent on it by its Buyers and is a highly profitable one for its Producer. The film can be considered as an average at the Boxoffice.

Meanwhile Oosaavelli is NTR’s 3rd biggest earner at the Boxoffice and is also 2011’s 3rd biggest as of now.
