Interesting Clash for Independence Day

A nicely poised and interesting clash awaits Tollywood Movie-buffs this Independence Day (2019). Sharwa`s Ranarangam is an Action-Crime Drama about the rise of a Gangster from the Shores of Vizag to Europe. Sesh`s Evaru is a Crime Thriller which deals with the Drama and Mind Games between a Cop and a (Business?) Woman framed for Murder.

What is interesting about both these films clashing is the fact they both appeal to almost a similar and probably small (?) set of audience who aren`t mainstream. Tollywood is generally (exceptions do exist) not known to support Crime and its Sub-Genres beyond a certain limited Budget. This if proved to be true again will make their Targets in a clash scenario, a tough task. We wish both of them to do well, but it all depends largely on Nizam and most importantly Public Word of Mouth. Over 25 Cr is Riding on the two films in Total at the Box-office and hopefully, a Holiday Release Should help maximise the Revenues.
