Aditya Music Acquires Audio Rights Of Mega Prince Varun Tej, Karuna Kumar, Vyra Entertainments, SRT Entertainments, GV Prakash Kumar’s Pan India Movie Matka For A Big Price

Mega Prince Varun Tej is currently deeply involved in the production of his maiden Pan India film Matka which is generating significant buzz. Directed by Karuna Kumar and produced by Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Thalluri under the banners of Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainment, the film is set against a period backdrop. The movie's period setting demands a meticulous approach to every aspect of its production, including its music.

Meanwhile, Aditya Music acquired the audio rights of the movie for a big price of Rs 3.6 Cr. This is the biggest deal for the musical rights of Varun Tej’s films.

The filmmakers are focused on ensuring that the soundtrack authentically reflects the vintage ambiance of the story. To achieve this, they have entrusted the musical composition to GV Prakash Kumar whose score is expected to infuse the film with a rich, nostalgic quality, aligning with the vintage theme and aiming to deliver memorable and impactful tunes.

This investment in the soundtrack is indicative of the film’s overall ambitious scope and the producers’ commitment to creating a high-quality cinematic experience.

Varun Tej is taking on one of the most challenging roles of his career, requiring him to undergo a series of transformative makeovers. The film spans an impressive 24-year period, from 1958 to 1982, showcasing Varun Tej in multiple distinct looks to reflect the evolution of his character over these decades.

The film features Meenakshi Chaudhry and Nora Fatehi as the leading ladies. Matka is shaping up to be a landmark project for Varun Tej, distinguished by its ambitious production values and meticulous attention to detail.
