Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce had imposed a ban on the director, father of SS Rajamouli, for not refunding Rs 36 lakh to producer Metikonda Muralikrishna. He had allegedly sold the same script to two producers. But Rajanna was exempted from the ban since it has been in the making for a long time. However, the director can’t take up new projects, until he adheres to the chamber ruling.

It took almost eight years, to act against the writer director.
