Snehithudu is a 3 hour roller coaster ride of comedy, sentiment & emotions.

Story : A well known concept of 3 engineering students and how their lives changed after.

Story & Screen Play : The film is a scene to scene remake of its Hindi original, 3 Idiots. Shankar has beautifully maintained the soul intact and added a song.

Performances : Vijay has carried his emotions pretty well. Jiiva, Sriram & Satyaraj are also good. Ileana is as usually poor. Satyan as the important ‘silencer’ stands out.

Songs & Background Music : Shankar’s mark can be seen in ‘Askalsaka..’ & ‘Ileana..’. Harris Jayaraj has done a wonderful job. BGM is perfect.

Direction : Good.

Plus : Dailogues, Hospital episode, Pre climax episode of Baby birth & Music.

Minus : Well Known story & lack of proper mass appeal.

Overall Movie Rating : 3.5 / 5 ( Must watch for those who missed `3 Idiots`).

Snehithudu was acquired for a decent NRA priceby Dil Raju in the state. GFC will share the overflow with Raju on a percentage basis. Its definitely a win-win situation for both due to low acquisition cost.
