Daruvu is a typical Raviteja style Mass entertainer.

Story : The life of a Chennai Rowdy, Bullet Raja ( RT ) comes to an abrupt end due to the mistake of ‘Chitragupatha’. The Yama recognizing theirs mistake offers to send him back.

Story & Screen Play : Ordinary story with an entertaining screenplay makes it a watchable one.

Performances : Raviteja delivered one of his better performances in the film. Prabhu, Taapsee, Brahmi & others are adequate.

Songs & Background Music : Music is pretty average on the whole. But the Intro & Climax Mass numbers have been shot well. BGM is very loud.

Direction : Okay.

Plus : Raviteja, Situational Comedy & ‘Yama’ angle.

Minus : Routine narration & lengthy over the top stuff.

Overall Movie Rating : 3.25 / 5 ( Entertainer!)

BoxOffice Verdict :

The film made on a medium budget was also sold at ordinary prices. It may recover its investment if the masses receive it well, otherwise an average is on the cards.
