ABO Review : '2.0'

`2.0` is a Unique Science Fiction Entertainer!.

Story :

Mobile phones in Chennai keep disappearing because of an Unknown Evil Force. The clueless government co-ordinates a Team of Scientists and other officers to deal with the situation. Vaseegaran (Rajini) brings back Chitti to find out about the strange happenings. Rest of the story is about what this Evil Force is all about and how Chitti fights it to save the people.

Performances:

Rajini stands out in 4 different roles. Akshay Kumar shines as the antagonist. Amy and others have limited roles to play with and are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Background score is Decent and the film`s script doesn`t allow it to to have regular song & dance numbers.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Adequate.

Action: Pretty Good and is a Huge plus.

Analysis :

`2.0` is a Unique Science Fiction Entertainer which leaves you wanting for more in the end. The film`s Teasing 1st Half is ordinary but the 2nd half is in a league of its own with the Plot revelations and the lead characters getting more aggressive. Spectacular Visuals, Grand Making, Top Quality VFX coupled with Loads of Star Power make this worth a watch despite its unappealing story. More run-time and prominence for the `Chitti 2.0` would have made this an entirely different watch. Common public are going to like this better than Regular/Serious Movie-buffs.

1. Not so appealing Story

2. Limited Run-time of `Chitti 2.0`

Bottom Line : Watch Out for the 3.0 Surprise!.

Box-office Verdict :

Although The film is receiving positive reports in Tamil, public talk is ordinary in AP & Nizam and will need to pull the Crowds in big numbers over the weekend to be a Decent Earner.
