RRR Closes Historic Pre-Biz

PEN Movies has acquired the North India Distribution Rights along with the Electronic, Digital and Satellite rights of `RRR` Movie in all of its languages. This Historic Record breaking Non-Theatricals Deal with Pen Group is an All Time Record in Indian Cinema History. Since the situation in Hindi Markets is still sensitive, RRR Makers were compelled to club both Theatrical & Non-Theatricals to get a juicy deal.

Coming to the numbers, North Indian Theatricals have gone for 150 Cr MG including Prints & Publicity which the producer will have to take care off and All Languages Non-Theatricals rights are at 250 Cr Outright. This Massive World Wide Historic Record Breaking Pre-release Business including All Rights will be at around 800 Cr for the film if the existing theatrical deals are honored at the time of release and the Break-even will be around 550 Cr  WW SHARE for Hit Status!. Sources revealed the film has profit sharing basis deals along with its own Producer, with SS Rajamouli, NTR Jr & Ram Charan. All 4 are potentially staring at a windfall of 100-150 Cr each.


Now that the Movie has managed a massive theatrical deal in North, it won’t be able to release until Hindi Markets get stabilized or the price will have to be renegotiated. Chances of a postponement to Jan 2022 have just increased further!.

Pen also holds the distributions rights to Gangubai Kathiawadi and Jersey as well!.
