ABO Review : Asura
`Asura`, is a Power-packed Cop/Crime Thriller. A decent attempt.
Dharma ( Nara Rohit ) is an Honest, ruthless and strict Jailer working at Rajahmundry (AP) Central Prison. Charlie (Ravi Varma), is a Murder convict who was set to be hanged. The film mainly deals with the mind games between the convict and his jailer. Charlie`s plans to escape from getting hanged by whatever means possible and Dharma`s moves to uphold the justice, also by whatever means possible!.
did deliver a matured and controlled performance. Ravi Varma also did well.
is more than adequate.
Priya Banerjee has nothing much to do and is average
. Rest of supporting cast are adequate.
: The BGM sound track is pretty good and is a plus but songs are average.
The film is a commercial thriller with classy narration. It is a rightly paced, stylishly narrated, intense Cop/Crime Drama. A Little dash of Romance & Entertainment then and there is adequate but it is a pretty serious film for most part. The 1st half is adequate with a good interval. 2nd half is also fairly decent with a good climax. There is lot of depth in Dialogues advocating Justice & Morals. It is a solid debut for Krishna vijay and his direction is impressive. On the whole, it is a Decent and Meaningful cinema and you may watch it if you are comfortable with the Genre.
3. Sound Track (BGM).
1. Limited Appeal.
2. Wafer thin story line.
Rating: 3 / 5 ( You May Try it )
A Largely Decent film `Asura` still has only limited prospects. Classy narration makes `A` class Centres, its big hope.
