Dhammu is a high voltage action entertainer, It is a treat for fans although falls short of its high expectations.

Story : The rivalry between two Royal families is the main story line of the film.

Story & Screen Play : Regular faction drama & Screenplay should have been better.

Performances : NTR was seen in a power packed faction backdrop after a long time. He has done very well in emotional scenes and his Dialogue delivery is perfect. There was nothing special on the ‘Dances’ front but he’s good as usually. Nazar as the main villain did well too. Venu, Trisha, Karthika, Kota, Bhanupriya, suman & etc., are adequate.

Songs & Background Music : Music is already a hit. Both Vasireddy &  Vaasthu Bagunde have been shot well. The rest of the lot are just okay. BGM & ‘Vijayeebhava’ are a big plus.

Direction : Okay.

Plus : NTR, BGM, Interval Scenes & Action episodes.

Minus :  Routine story, High expectations & Climax.

Overall Movie Rating : 3.25 / 5 ( Treat for Fans)

BoxOffice Verdict :

Dhammu carries high expectations from Trade and was bought at humungous prices. With the help of 2 weeks gap it should recover its investment. But, the Fans expectations of a Blockbuster are highly unlikely to happen. On the whole we expect Dhammu to do good business over the next 2 weeks and If the families receive the film, Business will be Big.
