ABO Review : 'Kumari 21F'

`Kumari 21 F` is a Bold and Complicated Rom-Com.

Story :

A typical next-door Bachelor Boy (Raj Tarun) meets a Modern Girl and Aspiring Actor, Kumari (Hebbah ) in his colony. He has a gang of friends who have a low opinion about girls and are into some small time crimes as well. Kumari who is open minded and matured, expresses her love. But Raj who is always protective and suspicious of Kumari confronts her with his doubts all the time and is non-committal. How he finally accepts her form the rest.

Performances:

Raj Tarun as a confused Lover did a good job. Hebbah Patel is More than adequate. Supporting cast are fine.

Technical Departments:

Music: DSP`s tunes are a plus, songs are shot fairly well but are too many and a couple are speed breakers.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Adequate.

Analysis :

`Kumari 21F` is a Very complicated subject dealt in a simplest manner possible. The film`s 1st half sets up the premise well and is largely good. 2nd half being thin on story till the climax goes slow and is average. The climax is a different experience and may be hard to digest for some sections. It is Youthful and full of Bold Sentences and actions. The film`s subject is realistic and narration which is fluid and smooth especially in the 1st half is a plus. On the flip side, it is stretched too far and appeals only to Urban Youth who would probably like the film the most. On the whole a Decent Watchable one if you are okay with the subject.

Box-office Verdict :

The film is receiving largely positive reports from the Target Audience. This is most likely to end up as a Decent success at-least with 1st day Opening also being very good.
