ABO Review : 'Soukyam'

`Soukyam` is an Outdated Bore Fest of Sorts, in a Typically Routine Template!.

Story :

An aimless wanderer falls for a girl on 1st sight and wins her love eventually. But there lies the twist in the tale when she gets kidnapped mid-way just when their love story starts taking shape. Who is behind this and how their love wins over their Families too form the rest.

Performances:

Gopichand is good. Regina is Adequate. Mukesh Rishi and the rest of supporting cast are So-so. Saptagiri, Prudhvi & Brahmi are fine.

Technical Departments:

Music: Anup`s Tunes are Very Ordinary and are average on-screen. BGM isn`t up-to the mark either.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: Adequate.

Stunts: Over the top at times, Okay.

Analysis :

`Soukyam` sticks to the time tested and highly repeated Template. Its 1st half is Below Average and is probably bearable to an extent. 2nd half is a mediocre affair with highly predictable Template making matters worse. There is hardly any chemistry between the lead pair and average comedy with spoofs is the only saving grace. The film lacks strong story or emotion to back it up. On the whole, a poor one with plenty of things going wrong.

Plus:

1. Comedy Spoofs.

Minus:

1. Unexciting Concept.

2. Predictable Narration.

3. Routine Template & Screen-play
