ABO Review : 'Killing Veerappan'

`Killing Veerappan` is an Average Docu-Drama Thriller.

Story :

It is based on the events leading to `Operation Cocoon` to capture or kill forest brigand Veerappan and his associates, who were dominant in Sathyamangalam Forest in in the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The film tracks the Multiple failed Attempts of the Special Task Force (STF) to nab Veerappan and finally his assassination.

Performances:

Shivaraj Kumar as the Main Protagonist playing Special Task Force (STF) Cop is intense and more than adequate. Sandeep Bharadwaj in the Title Role of Veerappan did extraordinarily well. Parul Yadav as STF spy is al-right. Yagna Shetty as Veerappan`s wife is fine.

Technical Departments:

Music: Strictly situational and average Songs. Back ground score is good.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: Adequate.

Action/Stunts: Decent stuff.

Analysis :

The 1st half of `Killing Veerappan` is Pretty Average and 2nd half is very Decent with good climax. The film takes its own time to grow on the audience but once we get used to the characters it moves in a rapid pace and is more interesting. The film deals with lot of Mind games and Strategies and has some thing novel to offer considering the interesting and real premise. With this, RGV is not fully Back yet but he certainly is still capable enough to make Decent films.

1. Slow Initially.

2. Limited Appeal.
