ABO Review : 'Krishnashtami'

`Krishnashtami` is a Passable Commercial Entertainer.

Story :

Krishna (Sunil) is an NRI who is settled in USA from many years. He is itching to go back to India finally and meets Pallavi ( Nikki) on the way at an Europe stopover. The accidental delay in connecting flight gives him ample time to win her over and there lies the twist in the tale when he finally lands in Hyderabad. How he overcomes everything for a happy ending forms the rest.

Performances:

Sunil did a pretty good Job and is especially great with his comedy timing as usually!. Nikki is pretty and is adequate, making a decent Telugu Debut. Dimple plays the Glam Village belle and is okay. Saptagiri, Mukesh Rishi, Asutosh Rana, Prudhvi, Ajay, Brahmanandam and Other Supporting cast are more than adequate!.

Technical Departments:

Music: Music is below par and 2 songs are shot well.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Okay.

Action: Okay.

Analysis :

`Krishnashtami` is your typical commercial stuff sticking to a template which was being widely followed in last decade or so in Tollywood. But the film still packs enough entertainment to end as a passable watch. Although predictable, emotions seem to have worked to a certain extent. On the flip side, music should have been better but the production values make up for it to an extent. Set in a sandwiched Rural Rayalaseema plus Foreign backdrop, it is aimed at masses & families!. The film falls into the `time pass` category and you may watch it.
