ABO Review : 'Malupu'

`Malupu` is a Decent Action Thriller.

Story :

The film is about a group of friends and how one Rush of blood incident on New Year`s eve hits their lives hard. It is the before and after the incident Narration of the Main Protagonist.

Performances:

Mithun Chakraborty steals the show!. Aadhi did a good job. Nikki & Pasupathi are fine. Harish and Nazar are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Should have been better. BGM is okay.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: The Film is Re-Edited from Tamil Original and there are a few abrupt cuts but okay.

Action: Decent.

Analysis :

First Things First, Malupu is not everybody`s cup of tea. It is a Decent Action Thriller with a Pretty Good romantic Track and Heavy Bloodshed. The 1st half has been an Okay affair and the 2nd one is average but multiple twists keep us glued till the climax which could have been better. The concept and screenplay is fairly good but the execution has been amateurish. In the end what could have been a good film ended as an average one with glimpses of promise then and there.

Note : Telugu Version is Semi-dubbed and 25 mins shorter.
