ABO Review : 'Babu Bangaram'

`Babu Bangaram` is a Watchable Commercial Entertainer.

Story :

A Very Kind Hearted Babu ( Venky as ACP Krishna ) falls for a Bangaram (Nayanathara) whose family is in a trouble. The Goons chasing her family keep harassing Bangaram for the whereabouts of her father. The rest is the back story behind the mess her father is involved in and how Krishna solves the case for a happily ever after ending.

Performances:

Venky did a fabulous job. His histrionics and the vintage comedy role is a kind of treat to his fans as well as movie lovers. Nayan in a matured role is quite good. Pruthvi is great. Posani & Sampath are fine. Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji and Brahmanandam etc., are more than adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Ghibran`s tunes are Okay and 2 songs have been shot well.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Adequate.

Action: Over The Top.

Analysis :

`Babu Bangaram` is a watchable Entertainer. The film raised lot of expectations owing to its highly promising combination and managed to lived upto them only partially. The film scores well on entertainment quotient but the emotional connect which is also important for keeping the audience glued to the film is missing with a weak script. The characterizations and a lot of episodes have been pretty entertaining although over the top at times. This is pretty alright for some good time pass fun and is recommended for those who like commercial comedies. Leave your brains at home and enjoy the fun ride.
