ABO Review : 'Luckunnodu'

`Luckunnodu` is a Poor Commercial Entertainer.

Story :

Lucky (Vishnu), unlike his name is a very unlucky guy right from his childhood days, which becomes rather irritating to his father who eventually disowns him. One fine day when lucky thought all is lost and decides to end life, he gets a second chance. How he laps it up and proves a point forms the rest.

Performances:

Vishnu has developed his comedy timing of-late and it is good in this one too. The Villain here is terrible with his acting skills and is the major weak link. Hansika, generally an ordinary actor is rather poor with no-so likable characterization. Some of the supporting cast especially Posani is good.

Technical Departments:

Music: Average.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: Adequate.

Analysis :

`Luckunnodu` relies on its characterizations heavily rather than having a well knit screen-play and ends up as a dull affair for the paying public. Barring a couple of comedy scenes then and there there is hardly anything that excites the audiences. A Weak villain and forced romantic track makes things even more complicated and the family emotions are a saving grace to an extent. Director Raaja Kiran fails to make use of the adequate talent pool he has got, which is why this isn`t worth your visit.
