ABO Review : 'Mister'

`Mister` is a Routine Commercial Entertainer.

Story :

Meera (Hebah) on her 5 day Spain Tour meets Chai (Varun Tej) whose family is settled there, while his Maternal Grandfather lives in Karnataka-Andhra Border. Chai falls for Meera but she has different plans. After Reaching India, Meera makes a call to Chai asking for help and he Lands in Karnataka where he meets Chandramukhi (Lavanya). Who is Chandamukhi and how Chai sorts out both their individual problems, forms the rest.

Performances:

Varun Tej looks fab and tried his best to live up as a commercial hero but is good only in intense and emotional episodes. Lavanya is pretty good and Hebah is adequate. The Gang of comedians did well and are some what convincing than the Villains who aren`t up-to the Mark.

Technical Departments:

Music: MJM`s Tunes are ordinary and BGM could have been better.

Cinematography: Good, Major Positive.

Editing: Okay.

Stunts: Obviously Over the top at times, Okay.

Analysis :

`Mister` is your regular Telugu commercial entertainer. The film has a decent 1st half but the 2nd is a let down. It hasn`t got a strong likable story to back it up and relies heavily on commercial elements. `Mister` is visually rich and offers a few laughs then and there, especially those involving Prudhvi. Neither Romantic angles nor Family emotions have been established strongly and the audience fail to connect and eventually lose interest in the 2nd half.

Plus:

1. Few Laughs then and there.

2. Visuals.

Minus:

1. Routine commercial Template.

2. Unconvincing Romance.

3. Not so likable Story.

Box-office Prospects:

The content being not so appealing, this may not make much impact at the Box-office.
