Pilla Jameendar is a hilarious entertainer with some message attached as a part of the story. The film although entertaining has an over dosage of melodrama in the 2nd half.
Story : The Grandson who is set to become heir of Krishnagiri Empire needs to pass some tests before taking hold of the property. How he succeeds forms the rest of the story.
Story & Screen Play : Okay, but presentation is stylish.
Performances : Nani did well and excelled in portraying different shades. The rest of the cast did their job.
Songs & Background Music : Okay
Direction : Okay, but handled the subject well.
Plus : Good funny narration and interesting characterisation of Nani.
Minus : Too much melodrama in the 2nd half.

BoxOffice Verdict :
The film was released on their own in a few areas and was sold out in Andhra Territories. PJ has the potential to become a success at the boxoffice but profitability is a question mark.
