ABO Review : 'Yuddham Sharanam'

`Yuddham Sharanam` is a Below-par Action Thriller.

Story :

An Young Tech Enthusiast who is seriously into Drones (Naga Chaitanya) goes in search of his missing Parents. He uncovers some Terribly Unfortunate Truths and Big Names. How he saves his family and fights against the baddies forms the rest.

Performances:

Naga Chaitanya fits the bill and is al-right. Lavanya is adequate. Srikanth delivers a strong impact but is not used wisely with limited screen-space. Murali Shrama, Rao Ramesh, Revathy and other supporting cast are fine.

Technical Departments:

Music: Lacks that one peppy track that holds the film together. Background score is ordinary.

Cinematography: Cool.

Editing: Good.

Action: Mostly Realistic, Good.

Writing & Narration : Should have been better.

Direction : Poor.

Analysis :

`Yuddham Sharanam` is yet another Action Thriller/Drama featuring Chay, which promises a lot but ends up delivering little. The film is a mixture of Romance, Action and Thriller Genres. What could have been Decent Action Drama ends up as a Melodramatic one with Routine Story and Tragic Elements. The film`s 1st half is comparatively better and is watchable. 2nd half even with a shorter run time turns out to be a rather ordinary and boring affair. An abrupt climax doesn`t make things easier either. `YS` got a few episodes then and there which are interesting and apart from that nothing much to offer other than High Technical Values. Although it is not out-rightly poor, you may not miss much if you skip this.

Box-office Verdict :
