ABO Review : 'Jawaan'

`Jawaan` is a Passable Action Thriller!.

Story :

Jai (Sai Dharam Tej) aspires to work for the Nation`s Prestigious Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Keshava (Prasanna) is a notorious criminal who plans to rob a missile being launched by the DRDO. Jai after learning about the plot foils the plans and a tug of war erupts between him and Keshava.

Performances:

SDT is good and is at his best in Action & Emotional episodes. Prasanna as the main baddie with lot of attitude, enacts his role with ease. The rest have nothing much to play including Mehreen who disappears after every song.

Technical Departments:

Music: Thaman`s Music is ordinary but Background score is Good.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Average.

Action: Adequate.

Analysis :

`Jawaan` is a Passable Action Thriller which explores Social Responsibility. The film has an interesting Premise which is partly let down by the artificial Romance. Once the Protagonist and his Antagonist start gunning for each other it is a fairly engaging one only to let down by the songs with ridiculous timing spoiling the flow of the film. Jawaan`s story is a promising one and has the Potential to be a good action thriller if stayed true to the subject. Nevertheless, this is not at all a bad outing and has some well written episodes. You may watch it for its Action Elements and Mind Games.
