ABO Review : 'Chalo'

`Chalo` is a Decent Romantic Entertainer.

Story :

Hari (Naga Shourya) loves to get into fights which upsets his father (Naresh) who sends him to Tirupuram, an Andhra - Tamilnadu border village which has Telugu - Tamil Rivalry. He falls for Karthika (Rashmika) and decides to solve the problems between both the Village factions. How and Why forms the rest.

Performances:

Naga Shaurya upped the ante in this Home Production and is at his best. He has impressed in a character which has ample scope to satisfy mainstream audience. Rashmika makes a confident Telugu Debut and is more than adequate. Satya, Vennela Kishore and the supporting cast provide great comic relief.

Technical Departments:

Music: Good.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: Adequate.

Action : Okay.

Analysis :

Chalo has lots and lots of Entertainment all through the film which makes up for its less than impressive romantic parts. The 1st half of the film is especially good and the 2nd half has a few hiccups in the middle which was saved by the Entertaining episodes in the later parts. What could have been a perfect Romantic Entertainer ends up as a Decent one with only Comedy parts working and romantic angle lacking much connect. Nevertheless, one still got enough in it to pay a visit to the theater.

Rating: 3 / 5 (Watchable)

Box-office Verdict :

The film is receiving Decent reports from the Audience. Considering the Opening & WoM, it has good chances to be an above average earner, if not an outright Hit.
