ABO Review : 'Chi La Sow'

`Chi La Sow` is a Class Romantic Drama.

Story :

Arjun (Sushanth) does not believe in the concept of marriage but he is forced to meet Anjali (Ruhani Sharma) by his family anyway. Anjali (Ruhani Sharma) has had a few bitter experiences in the past meeting prospective grooms, but meets Arjun for the sake of her mother. Even as they get to know each other, Anjali’s Mother`s health issues take center stage and they had to spend the entire night together dealing with them. Rest is how Arjun wins over a stubborn Anjali, who wishes to be an independent woman without emotional attachments.

Performances:

Sushant settles in comfortably after the initial nervousness. He is pretty apt and is decent. Ruhani Sharma (Telugu Debut) stands out in a strong author backed role and is very good although too many close-up shots seemed a little odd. Vennela Kishore, Anu Haasan, Rohini and others play supporting roles and are more than adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Ordinary but Background Score is good.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: Adequate.

Analysis :

Chi La Sow takes its own time to establish the two central characters with lengthy conversations. The entire 1st Half of the film is dedicated for this and is way too slow like a web series. The 2nd half is much better with an engaging narration and makes it a decent watch. Chemistry between the lead pair and Entertaining episodes make this worth a try despite its share of flaws. This would probably be more appealing for class audiences though.

Box-office Verdict : With Worldwide Theatricals value at 4 Cr apx and a clash with a superior film in Goodachari, this will find the going tough.
