ABO Review : 'Vishwaroopam 2'

` Vishwaroopam 2` is a Bland Spy Thriller.



Story :

Wisam (Kamal Haasan) after helping the US Forces in thwarting  a deadly attack in New York, gets assigned another task in UK. He along with his Handler, Team and Wife leave to UK but get attacked right after their landing. They suspect a conspiracy and tactfully deal with that rotten apple. But Omar (Rahul Bose) who is still alive has other plans and the Rest is how Wisam saves his country.



Performances:

Kamal is Pretty Good as usual. Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekar Kapur are Good too. Rahul Bose is terrific along with Wahida Rahman.

Technical Departments:

Music: Background score is a major plus and the Songs are ordinary.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: Okay.

Action: Ordinary although a bit Realistic.


Analysis : 

`Vishwaroopam 2` unlike its Part-1, largely is an underwhelming affair. The film takes a Back and Forth Screen-play route with Prequel episodes being some what better. Although most audience having got to know about the characters already is a disadvantage for the Part-2, VR2 lacks interesting narration or any awe moments to supplement that. And it all ends quite predictably in a rushed climax which doesn`t help it either since we weren`t shown, how Our Protagonist manages to save the country from such a Deadly Plot unlike Part -1.

Box-office Verdict :

Although AP/Nizam theatricals are valued at a manageable 5-6 Cr apx, this one doesn`t stand a chance to succeed.
