ABO Review : 'NTR Mahanayakudu'

`NTR Mahanayakudu’ on the early Political Life of `NTR`, is a Decent Watch.

Story :

This film tracks the formation of Telugu Desam, NTR`s rise to the Chief Minister`s Chair and the problems he faced due to the Rebellion in TDP aided by Congress (Indira).

Performances:

NBK shines with a near perfect portrayal of NTR. He is very good and is a major plus. Rana is convincingly good. Kalyanram, Sachin Khedkar, Vidya Balan and other supporting cast are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Background score is Good.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: Good.

Analysis :

NTR Mahanayakudu as the title already suggests is about the Political Life of the Legendary Actor. This film limits itself to the Early Episodes tracking outside rebellion, portraying Chandra Babu Naidu in a positive and guiding light. It will be very appealing to the Current Crop of TDP supporters and is a Decent experience for the General audience. Mahanayakudu has been successful in grasping and showcasing the emotional undercurrent of NTR as a People`s Leader and Balakrishna holds the film together well. On the flip-side, over-dramatization of certain episodes could have been avoided.

Box-office Verdict :

The film was Released on their own by makers on Commission Basis. Taking into account the Remuneration Values (Separately), Production and Release Costs, 30 Cr WW Share would be considered as a BO success but this is highly unlikely.
