ABO Review : 'Killer'

`Killer` is an Ordinary Crime Thriller

Story :

A Top Cop (Arjun) starts his investigation into a Gruesome Murder. As things get unravelled, fingers point towards a Mother and Daughter duo (Seetha and Ashima). But the Cops are unconvinced whether this duo can pull off such a thing and start to focus on their neighbour (Vijay Antony). Who he is and how it is all connected forms the rest.

Performances:

Arjun is the dominant performer in this film with his interesting narration of the events. Viay Antony (whether it was intentional underplay or not) is stone faced for the major part and doesn`t impress at all. Ashima and Seetha are more than adequate along with Nazar.

Technical Departments:

Music: Only BGM Works.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Adequate.

Analysis :

`Killer` inspired by `The Devotion of Suspect `X`` is a Crime Thriller. The 1st half of the film offers almost nothing and the 2nd half is where all the action happens. It has Decent Narration and twists making it a some what passable affair despite early hiccups. Although the story line is pretty thin, Arjun makes it work to an extent. On the whole, you may try this but won`t miss much either way.

Box-office Verdict : With no Buzz surrounding the film, this may not make much impact in Telugu States.
