ABO Review : 'iSmart Shankar '

‘iSmart Shankar` is a High Octane Mass Entertainer!.

Story :

Shankar (Ram) is a contract killer who murders a Popular politician. To escape from Cops, he leaves the city with his girlfriend (Nabha). CBI launches an investigation lead by Arun (Satyadev). But he gets killed in action, almost coming close to unravelling the whole conspiracy. The Rest is how Shankar manages to find out and finish Arun`s job.

Performances:

Ram steals the show and this is most certainly, the best performance of his career. Nabha is pretty good and proves to be an able female protagonist. Nidhi is adequate. Ashish, Shayazi and supporting cast are okay.

Technical Departments:

Music: Decent. Back Ground Score is Terrific.

Cinematography: Good.

Action : Okay.

Editing: Okay.

Analysis :

`iSmart Shankar` is a Full on Mass High Octane Entertainer with a bit of twist. It is like an old wine in a new bottle and is primarily an Action Revenge Drama. Ram`s Performance and Characterisation make the film a highly entertaining one, despite its share of flaws. The 1st half of the film is especially appealing and the 2nd half gets dragged at times and is ordinary. But it never loses steam with plenty of punchlines coupled with powerful action sequences and glamorous & massy songs. This is a Pretty much watchable affair for the Youth and Masses.
