ABO Review : 'Aame'
By OM
‘Aame` is a Bold Survival Drama!.
Story :
Kamini (Amala Paul) is the lead Artist in a prank videos Program for a TV channel. She and her gang decide to stay back in their old office to celebrate her Birthday. But when she wakes up in the morning, Kamini is left alone in the huge building naked. What actually happened and How will she survive and comes out of this forms the rest.
Performances:
Amala Paul in a Daring and Never Before Kind of role, steals the show. She portrayed the struggle of Naked Kamini very well.
Technical Departments:
Music: Ordinary.
Cinematography: Good.
Editing: Ordinary.
Analysis :
`Aame` is all about a pseudo-feminist getting a reality check to understand the true meaning of feminism she used merely to gloat and as an accessory. The film`s 1st half is mainly used to build the characters and the action begins only pre-interval. The 2nd half is good and is a fairly interesting watch. `Aame` has an intelligently Non-Intrusive Cinematography which helps the film to stay on course without turning vulgar despite featuring Naked Scenes for around 45 minutes. Coupled with a convincing Climax and socially relevant subject, `Aame` is worth a try!.
Plus:
1. Bold Screen-play
2. Socially Relevant
Minus:
1. Too Slow
Movie Rating: 2.75/5
