ABO Review : 'Dear Comrade'

Dear Comrade is An Intensely Romantic, Amateurish Drama.

Story :

Bobby (Vijay Deverakonda) is an Angry Student leader who keeps getting into fights. He falls for Lilly(Rashmika), an aspiring Cricketer. But Bobby’s anger issues lead the couple towards Break-up. Few years after, Bobby meets Lilly again only to see her depressed and aimless. How He helps Lilly cope with her problems forms the rest.

Performances:

Vijay Deverakonda plays the Angry and Dejected Lover Role again. He shoulders the film with an intense performance. Rashmika plays a strong role which has lot of substance. She shines as a cricketer and steals the show towards the end.

Technical Departments:

Music: Appealing Tracks. Back Ground Score is Good.

Cinematography: Good.

Action : Okay.

Editing: Ordinary.

Analysis :

`Dear Comrade` is a Mixed Bag of an Emotional Roller-coaster Ride. The 1st Half of the film deals with student politics and the 2nd half throws light on a burning issue. Great Chemistry between Vijay and Rashmika is a treat to watch but this was letdown by the Director`s Amateurish narration. The film never takes off to engage the audience in a proper manner and instead runs in a leisurely pace with limited high moments. Music is a breath of fresh air and aids the film.You may try this for its Lead Pair.
