‘Rakshasudu` is an Intriguing and Mysterious Psycho Thriller!.

Story : 

Arun (Bellamkonda Srinivas), an aspiring director has to settle for his father’s Cop job with no producers ready to back him. He is extremely curious about Serial Killers and does a lot of research. After joining in the police force, Arun comes across two identical cases involving teenage girls getting Kidnapped, Harassed and Killed. How he solves the mystery and nabs the killer forms the rest.

Performances:

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas surprises and manages a convincing act. He is classy, angry as well as  emotional and enacts his parts with ease. Anupama has a limited role and impact. Rajeev Kanakala and supporting cast are also good along with the main antagonist.

Technical Departments:

Music:  Good. Background score is a major plus.

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Good.

Analysis : 

`Rakshasudu` is an Intriguing Psycho/Crime Thriller. It almost always stays true to the original (Ratsasan) and keeps the audience largely glued right till the end with enough twists. Although it feels like a little dragged at times, the story has plenty of span to keep the proceedings engrossing especially with the mystery element retained right till the end. On the flipside, this may not be Everybody`s cup of tea considering the gruesome happenings. Nevertheless, this is a pretty muh watchable and worthy thriller to command a visit.
