ABO Review : 'Meeku Maathrame Cheptha'

`Meeku Maathrame Cheptha` is a Youthful Sit-com!.

Story :

Rakesh (Tharun Bhascker), a struggling TV Anchor falls for Dr. Steffy (Vani Bhojan). They manage to convince their families who have reservations about Interfaith marriage. But Rakesh lands in a soup when his Romantic Episode from an Unreleased Project leaks. This leads to an embarrassing situation and he struggles to save his impending marriage.

Performances:

Tharun Bhascker is surprisingly pleasant and has a good comedy timing. Abhinav plays an important role and is good too. Vani Bhojan doesn`t fit the bill and the film badly needed a better face. Anasuya is okay in an extended cameo. Pavani Gangireddy and Avantika Mishra are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Ordinary.

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Adequate.

Analysis :

`Meeku Maathrame Cheptha` is a Youthful Situational Comedy Entertainer. The film`s 1st half is a Pretty Decent affair and the 2nd half turns out to be ordinary with a dragged narration. The Plot has been explored well resulting in a lot of fun episodes but the desired effect is missing in the end due to dragged 2nd half. This is a Decent Watch to kill Some Time but could have been even better with a tight screen-play.
