ABO Review : 'George Reddy'

`George Reddy` is a Passable Biopic dealing with Socialist Student Politics of the 70`s .

Story :

This Bio-pic tracks the struggle of George Reddy (Sandeep Madhav) to break conventional barriers and his fight against the orthodox and corrupt society at large.

Performances:

Sandeep Madhav is apt as the revolutionary `George Reddy`. Abhay Bethiganti and Satya Dev get meaty roles. Muskaan is ordinary. Chaitanya Krishna, Manoj Nandam, Shatru and other supporting cast are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Action: Good.

Music: Decent and Background Score stands out.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Average.

Analysis :

`George Reddy`, completely dedicates itself to the socialist student politics of the 70`s in Osmania University ( Hyderabad ). The film`s 1st half is the better of the lot and the 2nd turns out to be ineffectual with repetitive scenes. `George Reddy` had so much potential but the uneven narration without any focus on the meaningful achievements limits its emotional appeal. Action Choreography and Background Score stand out in this about-par passable affair which is worth a try for its story.
