ABO Review : Red
NoImage

By OM

`Red` is a Bland Thriller.

Story :

Siddharth (Ram), an engineer and Aditya (Ram), a criminal are identical twins. A guy called Akash gets killed and the cops arrest Siddharth after coming across an incriminating picture. But at the same time, Aditya also gets booked in a different case and lands in the same Police Station. Who killed Akash and why forms the rest.

Performances:

Ram tries in vain to save the film but the narration lacks punch. Nivetha Pethuraj gets wasted and the other two female leads have limited roles. Sampath and Posani are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Ordinary.

Cinematography: Okay.

Editing: Okay.

Analysis :

`Red` is a Bland Crime Thriller which is packed with lots of unnecessary and unexciting elements. The film never actually takes off and gets dragged on and on to end in a convincing climax which is the only good bit. Lots of actors have been wasted without much scope and Ram`s performance is the only saving grace.

Plus:

1. Climax

2. Ram

Minus:

1. Bland Narration

2. Irritating Flashback

3. Dragged Plot

Movie Rating: 2/5

Box-office Verdict :

The film needs 15-16 Cr Worldwide Share to emerge as a Hit and it is likely to end up as a failure.

Ratings :

1 - Stay Away

2 - Poor

2.5 - So-So

3 - Watchable

3.5 - Good

4 - Very Good

4.5 - Outstanding

5 - Out of this World
