Story :

Sulthan (Karthi) is a Techie and his father Sethupathi (Nepolean) is a Gang Head controlling 100 henchmen. Sulthan vows to reform them after his father`s demise. He falls for Rukmini (Rashmika) and decides to help her village as well after threats from a powerful lobby (Garuda Ram & Nawab Shah). How he earns her love and also succeeds in reforming his gang forms the rest!.

Performances:

Karthi is apt and manages to entertain. Rashmika in a short but noted role is decent as well. Garuda Ram, Lal, Napoleon, Nawab Shah and other supporting cast are adequare.

Stunts: Main Asset!.

Analysis :

`Sulthan` has a promising concept which if handled in an engaging way had potential to become a blockbuster. Instead the film runs on a predictable note with routine narration following the time tested path. It has a few Kick-ass Action Episodes but the connecting Romance and Comedy tracks haven`t been up-to the mark, leaving it as a half-baked affair. you may watch it since it has something in it for everyone but with your expectations in check!.
