ABO Review : 'Love Story'

‘Love Story` : An Underwhelming Romantic Saga with Social Relevance but with an Unsettling Topic which may not be suitable for a family outing!.

Story :

Revanth (Naga Chaitanya) from a poor family runs a Zumba Training Centre and coincidentally Mounika (Sai Pallavi) who is also from the same village comes in search of a job and becomes his neighbor in the city. They click instantly, love blossoms but the social inequalities play spoilsport. Can they succeed in love?, forms the rest.

Performances:

Naga Chaitanya has come out with a neat and balanced performance. Sai Pallavi plays a contrastingly different role to Fidaa and succeeds in portraying the emotionally charged nature of the character. Rajeev Kanakala, Eeswari Rao, Devayani and others are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Major Asset. Background score is even better.

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Good.

Analysis :

`Love Story` is a mixed bag. Social justice and Harassment are highly sensitive topics to be balanced in a satisfying and interesting enough narrative a main stream film like this commands. The film overall is a Slow paced emotional drama with Good Songs and performances as the saving graces. The complicated nature of the film makes it a dis-comforting watch to catch together with whole family with plot twist being Spine chilling for everyone with a girl kid. You may watch it keeping your expectations in check!.

Box-office Verdict :

Although it is a superb start today, It is doubtful and remains to be seen whether the film can succeed at the Box-office considering the challenging situation and the ordinary content. May have to end as an average at best.
