Naga Shaurya shines with his subtle acting throughout. Ritu Varma steals the show in a strong author backed role. It is probably her best work so far. Nadia, Vennela Kishore, Saptagiri, Himaja are good. Praveen and Murali Sharma are a strong support act.

`Varudu Kaavalenu` is a simple and clean family entertainer with Matured Characterizations and Measured Performances. The film`s 1st half is especially appealing and the 2nd gets slowed down with its story not going anywhere but ends with a fitting pre-climax. Impressive Dialogues and Production Values keep the film going with decent comic relief  here and there. This is a passable family outing for this weekend which may not be exciting enough but if attempted, definitely won`t be a regretful choice.
