ABO Review : 'Khiladi'

`Khiladi` is a Soul-less Crimetainer!

Story :

Gandhi (Ravi Teja) lands in a money laundering case and gets arrested after his family was murdered. A Psychology student (Meenakshii) takes interest in his case and helps him to get a bail. But not everything is what it seems!

Performances:

Ravi Teja is letdown by unimpressive characterization. Dimple Hayathi & Meenakshi Chaudhary manage to add lot of oomph but are very ordinary. Arjun & Anasuya played their parts well. Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Unni Mukundan, Mukesh Rishi, Nikitin Dheer, Sachin Khedekar and Thakur Anup Singh are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: A couple of Songs are an asset.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Decent.

Stunts: Over The Top.

Analysis :

`Khiladi` is a Commercialized Crime Entertainer with Money Laundering as it`s core theme with some twists and turns here and there. The film lacked a coherent soul thus making it difficult to work despite its lavish production values and other commercial elements. Raviteja is let down by poor screen play with Music being the only Decent bit to talk about. You may still try this for its Rich Visuals but you won`t miss much if you don`t.
