ABO Review : 'Bimbisara'

Bimbisara : Decent Socio-Fantasy with a twist!

Story :

Bimbisara is a ruthless evil king of the Trigartala kingdom in the 5th century. But one merciless mad act lands him into the 21st century which ends up changing him for the better. How and Why forms the rest!

Performances:

The film entirely revolves around Kalyan Ram and he came up with the best performance of his career. Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon are let down by weak writing. Srinivasa Reddy, Vivan Bhatena are ordinary.

Technical Departments:

Music: Background Score is the No.1 Asset!

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Good.

Action : Decent.

Analysis :

`Bimbisara` is a Socio-fantasy with Rich Visuals, Decent Action & Entertainment. The film`s Time Travel Theme sets it apart from the Period War Movies and makes it more engaging. The 1st half of the film is especially Interesting and the 2nd is fairly decent. On the flipside, a better written Antagonist and Female Leads would have taken it to the next level.
