ABO Review : 'Karthikeya 2'

Karthikeya 2 : Gripping Mystical Adventure!

Story :

Lord Sri Krishna leaves a special treasure which has the answers for all the problems that will be ailing the world in future. Karthikeya (Nikhil) who is in Dwaraka on a religious trip along with his mother, coincidentally meets an Archeologist searching for this treasure. He then goes on an adventurous journey to find it!

Performances:

Nikhil has been a class act and enacts his role with grace and ease. Anupama Parameswaran, Srinivasa Reddy and Viva Harsha have been good in supporting roles. Aditya Menon’s role is let down by poor writing. Anupam Kher leaves a stunning impact in a cameo.

Technical Departments:

Music: Decent. Background Score is Good!

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Good.

Action : Decent.

Analysis :

`Karthikeya 2` is a Mystical Adventure on the lines of `The Davinci Code` with Gripping Narration and a few thrills. The film stays true to the subject and keeps the audience glued right till the end. The dialogues on Lord Sri Krishna totally steal the show and give that much needed momentum for the film in latter parts. On the flipside, subplots are weak and thrills/twists have been limited.
