ABO Review : 'Liger'

`Liger` is a Boring Action Drama!

Story :

Liger (Vijay Devarakonda) aspires to become a Mixed Martial Arts champion. He along with his mom(Ramya Krishnan) move to Mumbai to pursue this dream. He falls for a Rich Insta-influencer Tanya (Ananya Pandey) but her Brother doesn`t approve of it. How Liger overcomes heart-break and achieves his dream forms the rest!

Performances:

Vijay Deverakonda makes his presence felt with a stunning makeover but his characterization with over-stammering made it hard to impress the viewers. Ramya Krishnan is decent but Ananya Panday is ordinary. Ronit Roy, Chunky Panday, Getup Seenu, Ali and Vishu Reddy are adequate. Boxing legend Mike Tyson makes a cameo appearance which lacks kick.

Technical Departments:

Music: Ordinary!

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Adequate.

Action : Over the Top and lacks punch.

Analysis :

`Liger` is a Poorly scripted, Directionless Action Drama with outdated narrative and no emotional depth. The Story had a lot of potential on paper but the narration leaves one unimpressed and disappointing. Adding to the woes, songs appear to be wrongly timed and doesn`t go with the flow. Only positives in this film are its production quality and good looking sets.
