ABO Review : '`Ori Devuda`

`Ori Devuda` is a Passable Romantic Comedy!

Story:

Arjun (Vishwak Sen) marries his best friend Anu (Mithila Palkar) but it turns into a nightmare for both. His Childhood crush (Asha) inspires him to chase his dreams, but Anu takes it in a wrong way, and they eventually file for divorce. But the Love God (Venky) intervenes and offers him a second chance to make corrections. Did Arjun go with Meera or Anu forms the rest!

Performances:

Vishwak Sen plays the Boy Next Door and shines in emotional sequences. Mithila Palkar is Ordinary, and a well-known face would have done more justice. Asha Bhat is alright. Venky’s extended cameo is a show-stealer. Rahul Ramakrishna, Venkatesh Kakumanu and other supporting cast are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Good.

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Decent.

Action: N.A.

Analysis:

`Ori Devuda` is a passable romantic comedy with fantasy elements driving the core plot. The film`s 1st half is average with a good pre-interval episode and the 2nd half is good and more gipping with emotions and music sustaining the interest till the end. It takes a different route to tell a story told many times before and can be a predictable one at that. Nevertheless, this is a decent one-time watch for its fantasy elements and emotional core.

Box-office Verdict: 4-way clash this Diwali has made survival difficult for all the films. While this deserves to succeed, it may not end up making the desired impact.
