ABO Review: Veera Simha Reddy

`Veera Simha Reddy` is an Average Mass Actioner!

Story:

Jaya Simha Reddy (NBK) and his mother Meenakshi (Honey Rose) are settled in Turkey. He falls for Eesha (Shruti Haasan) and the question about father arises! Why they stay away from Veera Simha Reddy (NBK) and the backstory forms the rest.

Performances:

Balakrishna in two characters with almost similarly angry portrayal wins over the masses with his dialogue delivery. He looks ferocious in the aged look. Duniya Vijay didn`t manage to create the desired impact and was never a match to NBK. Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar plays an important part, and the story revolves around her. Shruti Haasan has nothing much to do other than being an eye candy. Honey Rose and other supporting cast are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Ordinary.

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Good.

Action: Over the Top.

Analysis:

`Veera Simha Reddy` works very well as long as the Titular Character runs the show, but the other parts and conflicts have been pretty ordinary to make it a complete experience. Balayya`s fans have plenty of whistle worthy moments, but the general audience may not feel the same high considering the weak villainy and inconsistent narration. A Few tweaks in the order of narration and better Music would have taken this otherwise average Mass Actioner to next level.
