ABO Review: 'Das Ka Dhamki'

`Das Ka Dhamki` is a Passable Commercial Entertainer!



Story: 

Krishna Das (Vishwaksen) is a waiter in a luxury hotel. He meets Keerthi (Nivetha Pethuraj) but conceals his profession. Eventually she realises it and he literally ends up on the road with debts and no job. But his fortune changes within hours when the SR Pharma is in need of a lookalike to their CEO Sanjay (Vishwak Sen). How this role-play lands him into a bigger mess forms the rest.


Performances:

Vishwak Sen apart from directing this, also played 2 important roles. Nivetha Pethuraj plays glam doll but is unconvincing although she has good chemistry with Vishwak. Hyper Aadi, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Rohini and other supporting cast are adequate.
 


Technical Departments:
 
Music: Decent.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Poor.

Action: Over the Top.



Analysis: 

Dhamki has an entertaining 1st half and a thrilling (although not convincingly) 2nd half. The 2nd hasn`t been dealt with finesse and the end is also abrupt. While this film has something for everyone and is a passable watch as an overall package, better editing would have taken it to the next level. Nevertheless, you may try this!
