Review : Heart Attack

Heart Attack, the romantic action entertainer from Puri Jagan is out after 3 week delay from the initially planned Festive release. Nithin teamed up with Puri for this Highly stylish and visually brilliant film. Read on.

Story :

Varun ( Nithin ) is an aimless wanderer touring different countries. He is attracted to Hayati ( Adah ) in first sight who is in Spain for a friend. All Varun wants is a kiss from Hayati for which he is after her. Hayati relents but with a condition. What is it? and how this Kiss changes Varun & Hayati`s life forms the rest.

Performances:

Nithin did a fine job in the film. He is stylish, passionate,emotional and danced well. Adah did a very good job for a débutante. The entire film thrives on their Chemistry. Once you like the pairing you might start loving the film. Brahmanandam, Ajaj Khan & Ali also have some roles to play with and did fine. Prakash Raj`s cameo helps in a convincing climax.

Technical Departments

Music: Anup is simply brilliant. His Songs and BGM are one of strengths for the film. All songs are good on screen too.

Cinematography: Amol Rathod`s camera work is top notch.

Editing: Almost Perfect, it is hard to find a scene which is unnecessary.

Stunts: Ram-Laxman delivered the goods once again but they are too lengthy at times.

Story,Screenplay & Direction :

Story is a passionate romantic drama with lots of action and it is more or less good. Puri`s writing in the film is equally good. some of his shots are brilliant. But the main issue with the film is its rich & urbane content won`t appeal to most of the Telugu audience. The subject is more of a Bollywood one and the locales are international. This film will be liked by those few who can connect with the lead pair`s chemistry. For the rest it will be a pretty average film.

Box-office Verdict

The film has been made by Puri himself on his own Touring Talkies banner. He has sold a few areas and kept some. Although it is unlikely that he will face any major loss from this film. The limited Boxoffice appeal of the film means it may end up as an average at best.

Bottom Line: Puri`s best in recent times!.
